Domestic Violence

How it Works

Serious Problem

Domestic violence is a serious crime which often results in some type of injury and often death. In the US, battering is one of the major causes of injury to women and causes more injuries than automobile accidents, muggings and rapes combined. Domestic violence cuts across all groups, regardless of socio-economic status, race, ethnicity, education, employment status, marital status or other factors.
