Storing a Living WillThere are no set rules on storing a Living Will. You should be certain that it is safe, but also accessible. Thus, a safe deposit box may not be the best place, since if you are incapacitated, the bank may not allow another person to open your safe deposit box without a court order. Also, make sure that the person who will be your agent, and the family member most likely to be "at the scene" in the event of any emergency, have a valid copy of your Living Will. Always keep at least one original in your possession in the event another person attempts to make one or more changes without your consent.
